Post subject:  District Attorney asks state to audit Uniontown's books

Looks like "rumors of payroll padding, ghost employees and the misuse of state grants" has prompted District Attorney Nancy Vernon to ask a Pennsylvania State Auditor for an audit, apparently because Uniontown can't afford it since Uniontown's bankrupt.

This would lay to rest any rumors of misappropriation of money/resources.

The city isn't officially bankrupt on paper yet, but there's no money. I will be curious to see where this leads.

i think they just want to prove to everyone that their bankrupt since they had all the layoffs. because it's not official that their bankrupt yet.
